The threshold consists of an aluminum base with a 20-micron anodized coating and a thermal break made of polyamide. A polymer thermal break is used in "warm" aluminum systems to prevent the internal part of the profile from freezing. A similar principle is applied in the new 20 mm threshold with a thermal break.

Considering that the threshold is subject to increased wear and tear, its surface is treated by the anodizing method. The depth of the layer is 20 microns. This helps to significantly increase the threshold's resistance to mechanical damage and enhances its appearance.
