Roller shutters are convenient for residential and office use. Depending on the characteristics of the opening and design preferences, we offer roller shutter profiles of different rigidity and colour schemes. The profile can be reinforced (extruded) or foamed (roller-rolled). The difference is noticeable in the weight and stiffness of the profile. Extruded profiles have a metal base with stiffeners inside, while foam profiles are filled with polyurethane foam.

Roller shutters can be controlled mechanically (manually) or automatically. With a manual mechanism, the control is carried out using a cassette and a cord (from inside the room) or a spring with a lock (outside the room). With automatic control from a button or remote control, the roller shutter is raised and lowered using an electric drive.

Choosing a high-quality roller shutter is not an easy task, but it is doable. When ordering roller shutters from an authorised dealer, you need to answer the following basic questions

• opening dimensions
• type of box installation (overhead or built-in)
• definition of the roller shutter profile (foam-filled or extruded) and guides
• colour of the roller shutter leaf and the box (white or brown)
• convenient control method (manual or automatic)
